Dr Tom O’Connor B.Dent.Sc
Dr Tom O’Connor qualified from Trinity College, Dublin in 1980. He worked in London for 14 years where he built up a number of successful private dental practices. He returned to Dublin in 1994 and took over the practice here in Dun Laoghaire.
Dr O’Connor is committed to ensuring the latest techniques and procedures are made available in the practice and both he and his team continuously update their skills through ongoing education. Dr O’Connor has gained the Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from TCD and frequently attends courses and seminars. He is also qualified to offer 6 Month Smiles orthodontic treatment.
Dr Suzanne O’Connor
Suzanne joined the team in Dun Laoghaire Dental in May 2016. She has been working in general practice in Dublin since her qualification from University College Cork Dental Hospital in 2014. Kathy qualified with a Diploma in Dental Nursing from The School on Dentistry, Trinity College, Dublin. She worked in London for 10 years in NHS practices, Harley street and the Eastman Dental Hospital. She qualified with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Kings College London in 1995. She joined Dun Laoghaire in 2001. Kathy actively attends Dental conferences on a regular basis.
Cheryl qualified with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1987. She joined the practice in 2007 and is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienist Association. Cheryl believes in the comfort and health of her patients and continues to update and expand on her knowledge by attending regular conferences and training.
Patient Care Team
Geraldine is a qualified Dental Nurse and also works as part of our patient care team. Geraldine has built strong relationships with many of our patients over the years and enjoys welcoming new patients to the practice.
Michelle’s background is in Administration and Marketing in various industries. She enjoys the day to day challenges that this role brings and working as part of a team. She understands the importance of putting patients at ease and making sure their needs are attended to.
Kinga qualified as a Dental Nurse from Trinity College in 2015. Kinga loves working with people and this is one of the reasons she chose Dental Nursing. Her job involves a high level of assistance, hygiene control, patient care. She has a personable and calm approach to everything that she does .
